In-hospital applications
Operation in the Computed Tomography
 | | Uninterrupted monitoring of critical patients - even in the CT
The radiation exposure dose during the computed tomography (CT) forces the hospital staff to leave the examination room during the medical imaging recording temporarily.
The modular system corpuls³ allows a complete monitoring of all vital parameters through the protective inspection glass of the examination room. The wireless and realtime data transfer of all vital parameters from the patient box to the monitoring unit outside the examination room allows the operator direct visibility at any time. The complete monitoring enables the staff to recognise accute changes of the patients' condition immediately.
The corpuls³ therefore allows an uninterrupted survey of the patient for the very first time. No more unplugging and plugging to other, longer cables and sensors before or after the CT-examination. When a trauma patient is moved to a shock room, there is no need to disconnect all cables. In fact a CT can be started without any time delay.
