Emergency Information and Documentation Assistant (NIDA)

NIDA is a special software solution, that enables a detailed paperless documentation during an EMS operation. The main advantage is seen in those rescue situations in which there is no time at all for a conventional documentation. Quite often the making of the protocol is deferred to the time after the rescue operation. Then it is only written from the memory and important information may get lost. For a practicality of the application two essential criteria are in the foreground:

Fast, simple and intuitive entry and handling during the EMS operation
Take over of available data of other involved medical products like an Emergency Dispatch Computer System or medical technology.

Live connexion
The live connexion of NIDA with corpuls 08/16 impressively shows the successful implementation of the above demands. Data of rescue services like working time or GPS coordinates are similarly taken over, e.g. patient data from the healtch insurance card. Furthermore NIDA takes over - in real time - all vital parameters and events such as defibrillation or pacing events from the defibrillator/monitoring system.

The rescue team can pay all its attention to the patient care and capture each measure depending on the type of operation (trauma or internal medical emergency) by pressing only a single button.

Database for operational policy
The rescue team already has a further possibility, e.g. direct access to a "red list" of information on infectious diseases, hazardous materials and much, much more. The archiving and the later traceablility of all captured data and infomations has proven to be easy. Accounting relevant data can be easily turned over to the corresponding invoice processing.
