corpuls 08/16 drives Porsche

Stuttgart, 26^th September 2008 – The fire department of the city of Stuttgart (Germany) has brought into service two new emergency physician cars, type Porsche Cayenne. Among other medical technology the two Porsche Cayenne are equipped with the reliable defibrillator and patient monitoring system corpuls 08/16.

The white Cayenne out of serial production has been modified according to the demands of the fire brigade. For this purpose the interior of the car has been redesigned completely in order to create more space for necessary emergency medical equipment in the rear and lugage compartment. The fact that the Stuttgart fire brigade has decided for the Defibrillator/Monitoring System corpuls 08/16, proves that they decided for high-quality engineering not only for their vehicles.

The Porsche Cayenn offers all-wheel drive, automatic gearbox with engine output of 290 hp. According to specifications, set by the leading emergency physicians from Stuttgart, the vehicles include additional equipment for mass casualty incidents (MCI). The costs for these exclusive emergency cars amount to approx. 70 000 €.
